What Is A CASA Examination?
The Australian Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) mandates that all pilots holding a Class 1 commercial licence and all air traffic controllers with a Class 3 licence must undergo an aviation eye exam. Preparation for your Exam
Bring Your Current Eyewear: Bring all your current eyeglasses and sunglasses to your appointment. Please also bring your spare glasses and contact lenses if this is applicable to you.
Photo ID: A valid photo ID is required for identification purposes, as well as your Aviation Reference Number and Licence Class.
Pupil Dilation: Eye drops will be used to dilate your pupils, so bring sunglasses and consider arranging transportation home as the drops cause temporary blurred vision and light sensitivity.
