Ahlem is a luxury eye wear brand founded by LA-based, Paris-born designer and photographer Ahlem Manai-Platt.

Her frames are inspired by and often named after the neighbourhoods in Paris where she grew up. Ahlem Eyewear combines classic French elegance with modern design elements.

Each frame is handmade in Oyonnax, France and goes through the hands of 9 skilled artisans in 3 different ateliers. The frames are made in small batches with 8mm acetate drawing inspiration from Bauhaus art. Their metal frames are electroplated in 22carat gold and feature comfortable titanium nose pads. This attention to detail and fierce loyalty to artisanal handcrafting is what makes Ahlem frames exceptional.
